China will increase investment in the Russian tourism industry

Almaty. September 3. Silkroadnews - Signed a memorandum aimed at increasing the share of Chinese investors in the domestic tourism market and expanding range of integrated tourism products for Chinese tourists in Beijing, reported the agency TASS.
The document provides the involvement of industrial partners and investors to increase the tourist flow from China to Russia, the development of tourism and transport infrastructure focused on tourists from China, as well as the creation of an integrated tourist product based on ferry operator St.Peter Line.
In addition to the development of ferry shipping in the Baltic agreement assumes further implementation of the joint Russian-Chinese projects in the Black Sea and the Far East.
Memorandum creates the preconditions for the largest investment to date in the domestic tourism industry.
"It is important that the funds will come from China, which today gives the largest volume of inbound tourism in Russia from abroad, while we are talking about a qualitative improvement of the flow, and bringing a new layer of paying Chinese tourists", - the official said, stressing the importance of signing the document during a visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin to China.
The next step in the development of Russian-Chinese tourism will be the opening in Beijing, the national tourist office Visit Russia, scheduled for October 12.
