China will launch 200 new international air routes next year

Almaty. December 25. Silkroadnews - China will launch 200 new international air routes in the next year, according to information portal China.org. citing the head of Civil Aviation Administration of China Li Jiaxiang.
According to him, currently in China there are 663 international air routes for which transportation is provided by local and foreign airlines, of which 369 routes were launched this year.
According to Li Jiaxiang, in 2016 air transport in China will experience significant growth.
However, Li Jiaxiang said that China will need to cope with the lack of infrastructure and air space available to civil aviation in order to ensure the growth of this industry.
According to him, until the end of the year, China will invest 200 billion yuan ($32 billion) in the development of 51 projects in the field of civil aviation, designed specifically for the Economic Belt of the Silk Road.
According to Li Jiaxiang, 2015 was the most successful for Chinese airlines and airports, which made a profit of 54.7 billion yuan.
