China will launch a nation-wide campaign to eliminate internet fraud

Almaty. May 4. Silkroadnews – China will launch a nation-wide campaign to eliminate online services and materials that help fraudsters, Xinhua news agency writes.

According to the Ministry of Public Security, from now and until September the police will search for service offering the account-stealing Trojan virus, information exchange or information on hacking, trade of ID, users’ personal data, bank account information, falsified certification.

Police also intends to remove all information directly related to cyber fraud from Internet.
According to the ministry, cyber fraud and theft had become quite common in recent years, and offenders often go online to obtain the tools they need.
