China will open Confucius Museum by the end of 2015

Almaty. December 5. Silkroadnews - China will open Confucius Museum by the end of 2015,reports the agency Xinhua.
"Construction of the museum designed by the academician Lyanyuna have entered into the most active phase. It is expected that the museum complex of philosopher Qufu in Shandong Province will be opened by the end of 2015",- says the publication.
The total area of the museum buildings is 90 thousand sq m. The complex will have a composition that resembles a constellation of Beidou ("Northern Bucket" Big Dipper).
Creation of a special museum gives the opportunity to present to the general public generic archive of Confucius and his descendants, who for years was under wraps because of the lack of the museum complex. It is learned that the Confucian archive has 260 thousand items: portraits, clothing and jewelry, various objects made of bronze, jade and porcelain, paintings and others.
