Chinese companies to invest around USD 1.5 bln in Tajikistan.

Dushanbe. April 4. Silkroadnews – Chinese companies plan to invest over USD 1.4 bln in Tajik economy. Most of these will be invested as FDI to fund construction of factories, as Tajik State Committee on Investment and State Property Management informs.
It will mostly be rebar mills, cement factories, and other facilities producing construction materials.
Most of those projects are currently being implemented. It is planned that most of this facilities will be working by 2015.
Tajikistan received USD 209 mln in FDI in 2013, USD 177.3 mln of which came from China.
