Chinese company to set up beef processing enterprises in Belarus

Almaty. April 6. Silkroadnews – The Chinese company plans to organize an enterprise to grow mushrooms and process beef in Mogilev region, the newspaper “People’s Daily” writes.

Such an arrangement has been reached during the meeting between the delegation of Jiangsu Overseas Group Corporation and the Deputy Chairman of the Mogilev oblast executive committee Viktor Nekrashevich.

Mushrooms grown are to be sold in Belarus, on the European market and on the EEU states’ markets as well.

The parties agreed to establish a joint enterprise for processing beef at the production facilities of the Mogilev meat processing plant to further export the products to China. For this the premises available should be reconstructed and duly equipped; the products planned will have to be certified for the Chinese market.
