Chinese Embassy in Bishkek to resume getting applications for a student visa this February

Almaty. February 9. Silkroadnews – Starting from February 10 the Chinese embassy in Bishkek will resume accepting applications for student visas, KyrTAG writes.

On February 9 the consular service department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan hosted a meeting with representatives of the consular service of the Chinese Embassy in Kyrgyzstan to discuss the situation with students from Kyrgyzstan who have not received training visa to enter into China.

Representative of the Chinese side informed the students citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic will be able to apply for a student visa every Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting from February 10 to March 1.

The number of applications, based on technical capabilities of the Chinese Embassy’s consular department, will not exceed 20 applications a day on a first-come, first-served basis. Students are also expected to have all the relevant documents with them, including a letter of confirmation as provided by their educational institutions in China.
