Chinese firm to provide drinking water to school and village in Dangara in Tajikistan
Almaty. November 1. Silkroadnews – Chinese firm realizes a $1.4 million project to ensure water supply for the school in Dangara, Tajikistan, the Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reported on Wednesday. “In the Dangara district of Khatlon region (south of Tajikistan), a Chinese company has started works to lay a 5-kilometer pipeline using a $1.4-million grant by China’s government. The pipeline commissioning will allow providing drinking water to the secondary school No.42 and village Huseynshaykh of the rural jamoat Korez,” China’s embassy in Tajikistan reported.
The project is expected to complete in August 2018. Note, that a $2 million school for 640 pupils in case was built three years ago also funded by the government of China.
