Chinese investments corporation will finance projects in Iran

Almaty. June 22. Silkroadnews – Iran’s National Development Fund and China Investment Corporation (CIC) are looking forward to launch a joint committee to facilitate investments in the private sector projects in Iran, Trend reports.

“CIC is interested in investing in new low-risk technologies and is ready to finance projects in Iran,” Safdar Hosseini, head of the National Development Fund of Iran, said.

According to him, during the recent meetings, the CIC representative launched an initiative to set up a joint group with Iranian counterparts to facilitate work on existing projects in Iran and explore new investment opportunities.
Last year, CIC representative delegation visited Iran to explore the basis for cooperation.

National Development Fund of Iran receives 20% of the country’s oil and gas revenues ranging within $6-15 billion a year based on the global prices.
