Chinese police holding campaign against illegal Internet-broadcastings
Almaty. July 28. Silkroadnews - The Chinese police are holding campaign against the Internet-broadcastings which contain "obscene, violent and illegal content", reports the TASS news agency with a reference to the Ministry of Public Security of China.
Approximately 150 registered web-sites in China are available for on-line broadcasting covering 200 mln users. Several leading providers have more than 100 mln registered users, the number of active users is more than 10 mln each month.
"Some sources use the on-line broadcasting for pornography or hosting of on-line gambling. The police will control the legality of the web-sites content. The sites violating the law will be closed," reports the message.
The Ministry of Public Security has called people to inform the cyber-police about the violations.
