Chinese soccer fans bought 37 thousand tickets to Russia for World Cup

Beijing. April 10. Silkroadnews - According to FIFA, Chinese soccer fans have bought almost 37,000 tickets for the World Cup to be held in Russia, the newspaper “People’s Daily” reports.
FIFA also confirmed that last year there were 1.7 million tickets sold around the world. Just over half of those tickets were sold to foreign citizens.
It is expected that more than 100,000 tourists from China will visit Russia during the World Cup, which will be held in 11 cities of Russia. Travel agency RuTravel in Yekaterinburg reported it will be offering short tours tailored to the needs of Chinese guests. And starting in June, Air China will launch two additional direct flights Beijing-Moscow.
Those who bought tickets for the World Cup can apply for a Fan ID giving them a right to visa-free entry to Russia from June 4 to July 25, 2018.
The World Cup will start on June 14 and run until July 15.
