CIS Chairmanship was transferred to Kyrgyzstan
Almaty. October 30. Silkroadnews - Chairmanship of the Commonwealth of Independent States was transferred from Tajikistan to Kyrgyzstan, reports the Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
Meanwhile, the head of the CIS Executive Committee Sergei Lebedev at the enlarged meeting of the Board announced that the next meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of Commonwealth countries will be held in Bishkek in late May 2016.
At the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government participated prime ministers of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan. Turkmenistan was represented by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers. Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan by deputy prime ministers, Ukraine by Ukraine's Ambassador to Tajikistan.
In addition, the heads of government at the end of the meeting signed about 40 documents related to trade and economic cooperation, humanitarian ties, financial and socio-economic spheres, cooperation in law enforcement and other matters.
