CIS countries to toughen joint struggle against IT-crimes

Beijing. April 10. Silkroadnews - The delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov, took part in the regular meeting of the Council of CIS Foreign Ministers in Minsk, the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) reports.
According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the meeting participants shared views on topical issues of the international agenda and the CIS format interaction.
While getting prepared for the CIS statutory bodies meeting, the heads of the foreign ministries of the CIS member states discussed and approved draft multilateral documents, including the Agreement on cooperation in combating crime in information technology, the Interstate Program for joint measures to combat crime for 2019-2023 and others.
The ministerial meeting decided to hold a regular meeting of the Foreign Ministers Council on the eve of the CIS Summit scheduled to be held in Dushanbe this autumn.
