Citizens of China canceled trips to South Korea because of the coronavirus

Almaty. June 15. Silkroadnews - Due to the spread of respiratory syndrome coronavirus MERS in the Middle East, Chinese tourists canceled trips to the Republic of Korea, reported the Xinhua news agency.
Travel agencies have reported an increase in the number of tourists who have refused from previously booked travel to the Republic of Korea.
Among 54.4 thousand tourists, recently refused from the travel to the country, a significant part is made up of Chinese, confirmed the Tourism Authority of South Korea. It has been suggested that the Chinese are more sensitive to coronavirus MERS than tourists from other countries.
General Department of Civil Aviation of China on Friday demanded from the domestic airlines to strengthen prevention and control of the spread of the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) on planes flying between China and South Korea.
