Commissioned the national satellite communication system of Turkmenistan

Almaty. June 9. Silkroadnews - Ashgabat held ceremony of commissioning the satellite communication system of Turkmenistan, reported Turkmen media.
"Satellite has a few dozen active channels - transponders. The part of which will be used by Turkmenistan for their own purposes, and the rest transferred to the long-term lease for Space Systems International-Monaco SAM. The satellite is equipped with three antennas - the eastern, northern and MENA (Middle East & North Africa), the coverage area is dozens of countries in Europe and Asia, the Middle East and North Africa", - says the publication.
As noted, in addition to expanding the network of broadcasting, having its own communications satellite will allow Turkmenistan to implement universally technology satellite communication VSAT.
