Confucius Institute is opened in Samarkand

Almaty. December 3. Silkroadnews - Chinese Cultural Centre "Confucius Institute" was opened in Samarkand, KazTAG reports.
"It will teach the Chinese language, familiar with the history and traditions of the ancient civilization of the eastern neighbor, to organize Days of Chinese culture", - stated in the report of the Ministry of Education of Uzbekistan.
Chinese center was established by agreement with the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages.
The first Confucius Institute was opened in Uzbekistan in 2005 at the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies under the auspices of the Chinese University of Lanzhou. Currently, there are trained about 400 students mastering communication skills in Chinese.
Confucius Institute - a network of educational centers at universities to study the Chinese language and culture, where classes are Chinese teachers. In the world there are more than 300 such centers.
