Construction materials accounted for more than a third of UzEx trades proceeds

Beijing. April 6. Silkroadnews - From March 26 to April 1 the Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange (UzEx) have carried deals worth 520.1 billion som, a 36% growth compared to week earlier, according to the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
During the period mentioned, the exchange trades volume has increased from 372.8 to 494.6 billion som, with construction materials weighting the highest 34% within the sales structure, and followed by chemical products (19%) and oil products (13%).
The currency trading platform traded with cotton fiber, polyethylene, zinc metal and industrial oil all together amounting to around $2.7 million. With this the share of cotton fiber and zinc in the exchange export market reached 34% each.
Last week, the exchange listing commission set 214 standard contracts for petroleum products, cotton fiber, construction materials and other commodity items.
