Constructive approach in resolving of border issues with Tajikistan will prevent conflicts, said the prime minister of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek. June 24. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyz Prime Minister Djoomart Otorbaev said that a constructive approach of solving the border issues between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan will prevent conflicts, reports KyrTAG.
"On June 24, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Djoomart Otorbaev met with Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the KR, Olim Rakhimov," - said the press service of the Kyrgyz Prime Minister on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister noted that the republics had achieved several important agreements aimed at further deepening and expansion of bilateral cooperation
During the meeting J. Otorbaev emphasized that the constructive approach of solving border issues and security at Kyrgyz-Tajik state border in the spirit of partnership and mutual respect would allow competent authorities of the two countries to continue all measures to prevent any conflicts.
The Prime Minister also noted that in recent years there has been an increase in the volume of trade between the two countries.
"Kyrgyzstan is interested in the development of trade and economic cooperation. Turnover in recent years has increased three times, indicating that the dynamics of bilateral relations, including the water, energy and transport sectors,"- he said.
In turn, the Tajik Ambassador stressed the importance of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as an interest in resolving the issues of the border issue.
"Kyrgyzstan is one of the most important strategic partners of Tajikistan and the adoption of a mutually acceptable solution to resolve the issues of the state border will raise to a new level relations between the two countries," - said the Ambassador.
