Cost of gas pipeline from Turkmenistan to India will amount to $7.6 billion
Almaty. March 17. Silkroadnews - Construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline will cost $7.6 billion, reported TASS referring to the official report of the Indian Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
"According to the feasibility study of the project, the estimated cost will be about $7.6 billion", - said the oil and gas department.
The length of the pipeline is 1814 km. It will be held from the southeast of Turkmenistan to Afghanistan, then along the road between the cities of Herat and Kandahar to Pakistan, and eventually through the city of Quetta and Multan will reach India (Punjab).
