CPC increases its oil export by 22.2% between January and May
Almaty. June 2. Silkroadnews – Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) exported 16.07 mln tonnes of oil between January and May 2014. This signifies a 22.23% increase compared to the subsequent 2013 period, as the Corsortium informs.
As noted, CPC exported 3.14 mln tonnes of oil this May as opposed to 2.79 mln tonnes of oil in May 2013.
CPC was founded to construct a pipeline that is meant to transit Kazakh oil through the territory of Russia. CPC owns Tengiz-Novorossiysk that is over 1.5 km long. It connects oil fields in the Western Kazakhstan to the coast of Black Sea. The volumes of oil loaded for transit through the Consortium increased by 6.9% to reach 32.7 mln tonnes in 2013.
