CPC increases its oil exports by 24.9% between January and April
Almaty. May 5. Silkroadnews – Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) exported 12.92 mln tonnes of oil more between this January and April. This signifies 24.91% increase compared to corresponding period last year.
It is also reported that CPC exported 3.47 mln tonnes of oil this April. On the other hand, CPC had exported only 2.65 mln tonnes of oil in April last year.
CPC was founded to transit Kazakhstan’s oil through the territories of Russia for further export. CPC owns 1 500 km-long Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline that links oilfields of Western Kazakhstan with the Russian Black Sea coast. Consortium’s export volumes increased by 6.9% to reach 32.7 mln tonnes in 2013.
