CSTO Military Committee discussed in Tajikistan the situation with IS
Almaty. April 10. Silkroadnews - CSTO Military Committee discussed in Tajikistan the situation in Afghanistan with regard to the activities of a terrorist organization "Islamic State", informs the press service of the Organization.
"During the meeting, the head of military delegations from the Republic of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan analyzed the challenges and threats of military security in the regions of the CSTO", - said in a statement on the website of the CSTO.
It is noted that special attention was paid to the current situation in Afghanistan with regard to the activities of a terrorist organization "Islamic State".
Also were discussed a wide range of issues related to preparation for the audit readiness of collective rapid reaction forces of the CSTO to perform tasks as intended, creating a single (combined) systems and missile defense. This is based on measures to create air defense systems in the regions of the CSTO.
In addition, the meeting discussed the activities of basic educational organizations of CSTO military personnel trainings, and issues of joint activities of operational and combat training in 2015.
