Decline in sales of Uzbek cars in Russia is related to the devaluation of the ruble - MFA

Almaty. November 27. Silkroadnews - Falling sales of Uzbek cars in Russia happened due to the devaluation of the ruble and measures to protect Russian automakers, informs the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
This information is stated by Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan Ehler Ganiev at the meeting of the Uzbek-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation in Tashkent.
According to the results of the intergovernmental commission, ministries and agencies of the two countries were instructed on May 1, 2015 to hold bilateral consultations on access of Uzbek cars on the Russian market.
UzTAG previously reported that sales of Uzbek cars in Russia in September 2014 fell by 64%, and for 10 months in 2014 - fell by 32%.
Recall that more than 90% of the vehicles of GM Uzbekistan are sold in the Russian Federation.
