Deliveries of petroleum products from Russia to Kazakhstan will cease from March 5
Astana. March 2. Silkroadnews - Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Magzum Mirzagaliev confirmed the introduction of conventional ban on the import of fuel from Russia for a period of 45 days, reports KazTAG.
He noted that this happens due to the fact that Kazakhstan and Russia annually sign "indicative balances".
"In accordance with which we can get duty-free a certain pre-agreed amount of fuel. For example, this year, we agreed on 1 million 100 thousand tones of gasoline. We will receive 760 thousand tones of diesel fuel. We will regulate the market in this way",- he concluded.
According to him, during conventional ban, Kazakh plants will be able to "fully meet the market of Kazakhstan".
M. Mirzagaliev added that the ban will not lead to "increase of cost" for fuel.
According to him, "after 45 days, the ban will be lifted".
As previously reported, the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan has prepared an order, according to which in March of this year will be introduced a Conventional ban for 45 days on import of petroleum products from Russia.
