Beijing. Jul 24. Silkroadnews - North Korea has started partial dismantling of the missile range at the Soehe cosmodrome in the north-west of the country, the Kazakh Telegraph Agency (KazTAG) reports with reference to the BBC Russian service.
The report has been based on data by the U.S. analytical center 38 North, which has satellite photos of activities undertaken at the test site. Thus, analysts say, one can assume that Pyongyang delivers on its promise given to the U.S. this June during the meeting of the leaders of the two countries, the statement said on Tuesday.
Pyongyang said, the Soehe Cosmodrome is designed for launching satellites, as well as for ground-based testing of rocket engines. However, Washington is confident the site has been used to conduct test launches of ballistic missiles.
To remind, during the meeting in Singapore, D. Trump and Kim Jong-un signed a treaty providing for the full denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.
