Almaty. August 26. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyzstan proposed to move the beginning of the school year to September 15, according to KyrTAG.
"In order to develop the tourism industry, in particular, domestic tourism with given favorable weather conditions, the Association of Young Entrepreneurs "Gia" proposes to move the beginning of the school year to September 15" - said the association on Tuesday.
It is also noted that the current holiday season on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul was significantly shorter than the usual 60 days because of the vagaries of the weather.
"This move will give an opportunity to relax in Issyk-Kul compatriots, to those who were unable to relax because of the high prices at the height of the tourist season" - added the association.
"Many of the students in the regions do not attend school in the early fall because they help to their parents. But they pretend that nothing bad happens. We offer to ease the situation in the rural areas",- continued the initiators.
The report recalls that earlier authorities and local self-government has offered to transfer the beginning of the academic year later.
