Dushanbe opens a meeting of foreign ministers of the SCO

Almaty. July 31. Silkroadnews - Capital of Tajikistan opens next meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), according to Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA).
Dushanbe gains foreign ministers of Russia, China, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. Kazakhstan is represented by the Deputy Foreign Minister Askar Muniz.
Under the program, participants will meet with President Emomali Rakhmonov.
On the agenda - a new draft version of the memorandum on the obligations for the applicant with the purpose of obtaining the status of a Member State of the Organization and the procedure for granting the status of the SCO member states.
Following the approval of these documents by Ministers it will be submitted for approval by the Summit of Heads of SCO member states.
Ministers will also discuss and agree on the agenda of the upcoming SCO summit, which is scheduled for September this year in Dushanbe.
