EIA raised its forecast for oil production in Kazakhstan to 1.73 million barrels per day this year

Almaty. February 10. Silkroadnews - U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) has raised the forecast of oil production in Kazakhstan in 2016, the February short-term forecast of the EIA informs, according to Trend.
The oil production in Kazakhstan in 2016 is forecasted at 1.73 million barrels per day. Earlier, the EIA forecasted the oil production in Kazakhstan in 2016 at 1.72 million barrels per day.
According to the new forecast, in the first quarter of 2016 the Kazakhstani oil production shall make 1.71 million barrels per day, in the second and third ones - 1.72 million barrels per day followed by 1.75 million barrels per day in the fourth quarter.
For 2017 the EIA, as in the previous forecast, forecasts growth of oil production in Kazakhstan to 1.75 million barrels per day. Quarterly production in 2017 is expected to reach 1.76 million barrels per day in the first and second quarters of the year, followed by 1.75 million barrels per day in the third quarter and 1.74 million barrels per day in the fourth quarter.
In 2015 oil production in Kazakhstan, according to the EIA, amounted to 1.72 million barrels per day.
According to the BP Statistical Review, the adding reserves of oil in Kazakhstan amounted to 30 billion barrels at the beginning of 2015.
