Electricity tariffs in Kyrgyzstan from September 1 will increase by 4%

Almaty. August 21. Silkroadnews - From September 1, the electricity tariffs in Kyrgyzstan will increase by 4%, according to KyrTAG.
"Since September tariffs for electricity for industrial users and the three-phase voltage inputs will be increased by 4% due to inflation," - said the director of the Department for Regulation of Fuel and Energy Complex of the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Mirgul Aidarova on Thursday.
According to her, the electricity tariffs for the population will not be increased and will remain at the same level - 70 tyiyn per 1 kWh.
"Subscribers of three-phase input from September 1, will pay 1.2 soms per 1 kWh, industrial and agricultural enterprises - 1.38 soms, pumping stations - 72.8 tyiyn" - she explained.
As noted by M. Aidarova according to established by government decree from June 27, electricity tariffs will not rise until  April 1, 2015.
