Emomali Rahmon named “Friend of World’s Artists” in Shanghai

Dushanbe. May 20. Silkroadnews – Tajik President was named “Friend of World’s Artists” as TajikTA reports.
“Tajik President Emomali Rahmon has took part in the opening ceremony of art exposition that showcases artistic work from Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) member-countries. While at the exposition, he was named “Friend of World’s Artists”, President’s Press Office informed.
Painters from Shanghai Cooperation Organisation member-countries that participated in the contest also received their awards at the opening ceremony.
Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) is a regional organisation that was founded back in 2001 by the state leaders of China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
