Energy conservation program on transport will be developed in Kazakhstan in 2015

Astana. October 21. Silkroadnews - Energy Saving Program for Transport will be developed in Kazakhstan in 2015, informs KazTAG citing First Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Uzakbay Karabalin.
"The Ministry of Energy, together with the relevant government agencies in 2015 will develop a program of energy saving on transport, the implementation of which will update the fleet of the country fund, reduce the consumption of petroleum products in favor of liquefied natural gas, increase the number of cars with a small engine size, as well as improve the environmental situation in the country", - said U. Karabalin at a briefing on Tuesday.
According to him, 10 million tons of oil equivalent could be saved due to energy saving on transport.
