Energy losses in gas and heating networks of Kazakhstan remain high - IEA

Astana. April 24. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan's loss in gas and heating networks remain high due to outdated infrastructure, claimed experts to KazTAG.
"Electrical system remains stable, with total losses in the transmission of electric energy at approximately 7%. Losses in municipal heating network are higher - because of aging infrastructure - about 20%", - says the report of the International Energy Agency (IEA) on Friday.
The highest levels of energy losses (30%) are recorded in the gas pipeline network.
