Astana. April 8. Silkroadnews – No common currency is designed within the framework of Eurasian Economic Union. The countries are to preserve their national currencies, as the Depurty PM, Bakhytzhan Sagintayev, states.
“I don’t know where these conversations originate from. We have not even discussed we issue of common currency creation and we don’t have such a project”, Mister Sagintayev said at the briefing for journalists.
Thus, he has put to sleep rumours about common currency. Those rumours were met with some degree of hostility by parts of Kazakhstani Society.
