Fees for foreign citizens’ registration to be increased by 125 times in Kyrgyzstan
Almaty. July 28. Silkroadnews - The fares for registration of foreign citizens may be increased in Kyrgyzstan from 120 soms to 15 000 soms, reports the KyrTAG with a reference to Nurlan Tokonoyev, chief of visa department of the state registration service (SRS) of Kyrgyzstan.
"The initiative comes from the state registration service, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and chairman of the State Registration Service discussed it. Sarpashev (chief of the State Registration Service-Silkroadnews) proposed to increase the fees to 15 000 soms. Today foreigners pay 120 soms. Our department has not drawn the conclusion," he said.
He said one year visa on SRS system costs 4000 soms, in the system of consular service department of MFA-$150. Residence permit in SRS system for citizens of near foreign states costs 15 000 som, for citizens of distant foreign states- 25 000 som.
