Fines will be imposed on sellers displaying prices for their goods in dollars in Kyrgyzstan

Almaty. April 11. Silkroadnews – The amount of fines to be imposed on those who display prices for goods in foreign currency shall amount to 10-50 thousand som in Kyrgyzstan, KyrTAG reports.

“The exact amounts of fines for displaying prices in foreign currency have not been set so far, yet preliminary decision is to impose 10 thousand som fine on individual person and 50 thousand som on legal entity,” the director of the state agency of anti-monopoly regulation Bolsunbek Kazakov said on Monday.

As he noted, the government’s decree on de-dollarization had entered into force, but Parliament has not yet adopted the circular instruments, in particular regulatory measures regarding responsibility for price indication in foreign currency and settlement of transactions using the US dollars.
