Five luxury hotels in Beijing accused of unsanitary conditions

Almaty. September 5. Silkroadnews – “Five luxury hotels in Beijing accused of unsanitary conditions”, Chinese newspaper Global Times reported.
“The Beijing Tourism Association met with five luxury hotels after being accused of not changing bed sheets and cleaning toilets between guests. The five hotels are JM Marriott, Shangri La Hotel, Hilton, Intercontinental, and W Beijing”, publication reads.
The check of hotels, as reported, was conducted and recorded on video by employees from the independent organization Better Choice, Better Life.
The video shows how the employees of the independent organization Better Choice, Better Life, check five elite hotels in Beijing, posing as guests. They managed to find out that the hotels did not change their bedding and toiletries before the arrival of new guests, report says.
“Using “invisible” paint which can only be detected by UV light, the organization’s employees sprayed several stamps on sheets, toilets and toiletries. When they returned to the same room, the stamps were still there. The video shows that these employees even found a used condom under a bed in JM Marriott”, agency wrote.
