Following results of seven months Kyrgyzstan's social and economic performances remain low, prime minister said

Almaty. August 22. Silkroadnews – Following results of seven months Kyrgyzstan's social and economic performances remain low, Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov said.

«I think it would be necessary to note that following results of seven months of 2016 the social and economic performances of the country remain low. GDP amounted to (-1,2%), exports fell by 28.4% and imports decreased by 7.3%», KyrTAG quotes S. Jeenbekov saying at the regular government meeting on Monday.

According to the prime minister, the numbers above have also been impacted by the crisis resulted from the EEU states' economic slowdown.

«With this inflation made (-2.3%), while inflation in Kazakhstan grew by 5.2% and in Russia by 3.9%», he added.
