For five months Tajikistan generated 7.1 billion kW/h of energy

Almaty. June 16. Silkroadnews – For five months Tajikistan generated 7.1 billion kW/h of electricity, Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reported on Thursday.
“For five months of this year (January-May) Tajikistan has generated 7 billion 131.7 million kW/h of electricity, which is 0.7% less compared to the same period of last year,” Tajikistan statistical agency informs.
Out of this volume 6 billion 988.3 million kW/h have been generated by the republic’s hydroelectric power stations.
As a total for the period considered Tajikistan has produced electricity to the amount of more than 893 million 800 thousand somoni ($113 million 715 thousand).
