Almaty. June 15. Silkroadnews – For June 15-25 Uzbekistan suspends entrance for Central Asian countries’ citizens, KyrTAG reports with reference to the Kyrgyz Republic’s state border service.

“For the period from June 15 through June 25 Uzbekistan suspends passage across the border for people, vehicles and goods entering into Uzbekistan from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan,” the statement says.

An exception will be made for residents of the Barak Kara-Suu district exclave of Osh region who will cross the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border in the normal course.

Earlier it was reported, that on June 23-24 Tashkent will host the annual summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Due to this unprecedented security measures are taken in the capital of Uzbekistan.
