Foreign companies invest $3 billion in construction of solar power plants in Iran

Almaty. February 6. Silkroadnews – Foreign companies will invest $3 billion into construction of solar power plants in Iran in the near future, Iranian news agency (IrTAG) informs.
According to Minister of Energy of Iran Hamid Chitchian, companies from Germany and Ireland have jointly invested in construction of two power plants in Hamadan.
A number of new power plants using renewable sources of energy will be built in the country soon. The wind and solar energy are planned to be used mainly.
