Foreign direct investment in China in January-February increased by 17%

Almaty. March 18. Silkroadnews - In January-February 2015, foreign direct investment in China increased by 17% compared to the same period last year, reaching $22.48 billion, said the agency "Xinhua".
Foreign direct investment in the service sector in January-February amounted to $13.73 billion, up to 30% and accounted for 61% of all foreign direct investments attracted during this period. In this segment, the largest number of investments came within the scope of financial and transport services.
Investment in the manufacturing sector amounted to $7.47 billion with an increase of 7.1% compared to the same period last year. The share of investment in production amounted to about 33% of the total investment.
In the first two months of the year by 38.6% increased the number of newly registered in China enterprises with foreign capital. According to the data about 3831 new enterprises.
The main investors in the specified period of time became a special administrative region of Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore and Japan.
Ministry data also shows 51% increase in the volume of foreign direct investment by Chinese companies to $17.42 billion. The main recipients of investments have become Hong Kong, ASEAN and the EU.
