Foreign trade turnover of Kazakhstan with the countries of the EAEC in the I quarter decreased by 20.9%

Silkroadnews - The volume of mutual trade of Kazakhstan with the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEC) in January-March amounted to $3,430 billion, which is 20.9% less than in the corresponding period of 2014, indicates the report of the Committee on Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the Ministry of National Economy.
According to the statistics, exports to the EAEC amounted to $901.6 million (down by 31.1%), import - $2528.5 billion (-16.5%).
In the structure of Kazakhstan's exports dominated mineral products - 49.4%, chemical products - 20%, metals and articles thereof - 18.9%, products of animal and vegetable origin, finished food products - 3 9%.
From the countries of EAEC mostly imported machinery and equipment - 32%, mineral products - 17.7%, metals and products made of them -13.4%, chemical products - 12.7%, products of animal and vegetable origin, finished food products - 12.5%.
