Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan is considering the advisability of allowing foreign transit passengers to stay 72 hours on the territory of Kazakhstan without a visa, reported the director of the Department of Tourism Industry of the Ministry of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan Timur Duysengaliev.
He said that in accordance with the concept of development of tourism industry, now is considered the concept of the bill on amendments to some legislative acts.
The changes will affect and access to protected areas. As a reducing administrative barriers, it is proposed to simplify licensing procedures in the implementation of tourist activity in specially protected areas, which will largely realize the great potential of Kazakhstan's ecotourism.
He added that, in this case will be changed the approach to the conduction of international tourism exhibitions.
