Foreigners may be obliged to go through biometric registration in Kyrgyzstan
Almaty. July 26. Silkroadnews. Foreigners arriving to Kyrgyzstan may be obliged to go through biometric registration, reports the KyrTAG, the appropriate amendments into the law "On biometric registration of the citizens of Kyrgyzstan" will be brought by the Ministry of Justice.
The draft law is aimed to create the database and provide maximum identification of foreigners and people without citizenship arriving to the territory of the state using the biometric data.
The draft law is supposed to oblige foreigners and people without citizenship to go through biometric registration if they stay on the territory for more than 3 months. People violating the requirement will be fined.
The document is targeted on effective combat with criminality, illegal migration, terrorism and human trafficking.
