Four Kyrgyz diplomats are punished for unlawful processing of visas to citizens of China

Only for the 2014 in the capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (XUAR) were issued 4 thousand 131 visas to Chinese nationals. And the 601 visa was issued without the consent of the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the State Committee of National Security, which is a violation of procedure. 65 visas were issued to those who had previously been denied for Kyrgyz visa. Thus, 601 foreign citizen could visit Kyrgyzstan in 2014 without checking of the security forces.
In turn, Director of the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Arslanbek Umetaliev did not refute the information about the punishment of four employees, but refused to comment or voice more information.
