France is ready to invest into textile industry development in Herat, Afghanistan

Almaty. October 18. Silkroadnews – France is ready to invest into the expansion and development of the textile industry, as well as in fish farming, in Herat province, French ambassador in Afghanistan, Jean-Mechel Marleau said, AfTAG informs.

The French Ambassador said his country is ready to invest into the development of the textile industry, and also in fish farming.

In his turn the spokesman for Herat’s governor Jilani Farhad said if French investments come to further develop the local industry there will be more jobs for young people in these sectors.

It is worth noting that the western province Herat is one of the regions where the production sector develops successfully; also the province is one of the centers of the textile industry in the country.
