Gemstones confiscated in Western Tajikistan

Dushanbe. May 29. Silkroadnews – Gemstones was confiscated in Western Tajikistan, as TajikTA reports.
2 citizens of Tajikistan were arrested in relation to the alleged illicit gemstone trade, as Tajik Ministry of Internal Affairs explained to TajikTA.
A bag with 6 gemstones was found in possession of 21 year old Azizjon Muhiddinov.
As further investigation has established, the suspect paid USD 1 000 to purchase these gemstones from 22 year-old Rajabali Kayumzod. The investigation continues.
