Head of Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and President of France discussed bilateral relations in France

Almaty. June 23. Silkroadnews – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met with French President François Hollande at the Élysée Palace on Wedneasday, Mehr agency reported.

“Zarif, who is Paris on his third EU tour to discuss bilateral ties and regional and international developments, held talks with François Hollande, President of French Republic at the Élysée Palace on Wednesday”, the publication states.

The talks main subjects included discussing the agreements inked between Tehran and Paris during the President Rouhani’s recent visit to European country, economic and trade ties as well as the crises in Middle East.

Mohammad Javad Zarif has also met with President of the Senate of France Gérard Larcher and attended a meeting in the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Armed Forces of the French Senate as well as a meeting at International Diplomatic Academy.
After Paris the Iranian Minister plan to visit Amsterdam.
