Almaty. September 15. Silkroadnews – Heads of Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Iran and «5+1» (Russia, UK, China, USA and France, and Germany) will discuss the progress of the Tehran's nuclear deal in New York on September 22, TASS writes.

«The meeting with the participation of the group of 5+1 will be held on Thursday, September 22, at the ministerial level. The participants will discuss the details of the deal, as well as the issues on the sanctions removal from Iran. The meeting will be held «on the sidelines» of the UN General Assembly gathering in New York on September 20-26», the publication says.

The agreement on the Iranian nuclear program (the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) was reached in Vienna on July 14 of last year. On January 16, 2016, the plan realization was announced. Among the other issues this plan also provides for removal of sanctions imposed on Iran in regard to its nuclear program by the UN Security Council, US and EU. Instead, Tehran has committed to restrict its nuclear activities putting it under international control.

Over the recent months Tehran has repeatedly expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that the country still has not received any financial benefits from the removal of international and unilateral sanctions as provided by the JCPOA.

In April 2016 Tehran applied to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to intervene in the situation with nearly $2 billion of Iranian assets frozen by the US and avoid these assets confiscation by the Washington court.
