According to the annual competitiveness ranking among 60 leading economies of the world, published by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD, Switzerland), Hong Kong took 2nd place, climbing 2 positions compared to 2014 year.
Leader in the ranking is still the United States. In third place - Singapore. The top 10 are Singapore, Switzerland, Canada, Luxembourg, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Germany.
In the ranking of IMD assessed factors such as economic activity, government efficiency, business efficiency and infrastructure construction.
Kazakhstan took 34th place.
